Many Loaders are currently running on miles of ground each week, pushing the standard wear and tear mileage on their loader tires to the brink. The question this particular entry will address: "will switching from Bias to Radial on your Loaders mean that much world of a difference?"
Bias Tires have it's advantages. Usually, bias tires are much more inexpensive compared to radial tires. Bias tires work well for situations where loaders may not run long distances, or where the loaders use may not have to push the brink of workmanship. Bias tires are the go-to tires for many non-aggressive applications. But when the loader may be pushed to its capacity, your loader, your operator, and your wallet may thank you.
Radial tires last 50-100% longer than its bias counterpart. This means that over the course of time, you would only have to buy one set in a certain time span where you would have bought two sets of bias tires. The construction of radial tires offer more wear resistance and better shock absorption. The metallic protective plys of radial tires provide a higher tensile strength than the the tensile strength of the bias tires. This equals more efficient operating times, more load capacity, better traction. For our customers, that means more materials moved.
